Due to growth in the field, Genesis Medical Imaging has immediate openings for a full time MRI Coil Repair Engineer to
work out of Huntley, IL facility, a Northwest Suburb of Chicago. Willing to relocate applicant within terms.
Salary is negotiable.
The following experiences and knowledge is desirable for this position:
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic electromagnetic theory
- Experience with a network analyzer
- Experience with MRI systems
- Knowledge of basic electronic measuring equipment; digital multi-meters, power supplies, and digital storage oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of basic circuit analog designs, and the capability to learn new more complex designs
- Ability to trouble-shoot and repair down to the component level using basic test equipment
- Knowledge/experience with PC computers and Windows
- Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Basic soldering skills, both through-hole, and surface mount
- College degree required

Job Description:
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products & equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and adheres to maintenance schedule
- Maintain service logs and documentation
- Maintain tools and test equipment
- Communicate with supervisor and customers
Requirements:
- MRI/CT servicing experience
- GE or Siemens MRI and/or CT experience
- Willing to travel and work some irregular hours
- Excellent communication skills with engineers and staff
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, will consider appropriate experience as substitute.
